DVD Tab Delimited Text Files

These are data files containing info on all videos featured on DVD by Promo Only. You can download it as a TAB-DELIMITED Text document. (This means that the information is separated into "columns" that use "tabs" as space holders where one column starts and the next begins. This keeps all the "titles" in one column, all the "artists" in another, etc.) You can use any type of spreadsheet computer program that will import information into columns and rows. When you OPEN the file with the spreadsheet program you are using, it will ask you what separates the data. You choose TABS!

Once the data is in the spreadsheet it may be sorted by any column. Each ROW contains the information for one song.
To sort the information:
1. Select all the cells you wish to sort
2. Choose "Sort" under the "Data" menu.
3. Choose "No Header Row" and the column you want to sort by.
4. Specify Ascending or Decending order.
5. Multiple sorts may also be done in the same window.
You may want to save these file on a Disc to keep a backup.
